About us

 Formally known as Branko Timber Staircases (BTS) was established in 1985 by Branko Susnjara. It is has since remained a small business to ensure our customers receive quality and experienced workmanship. 

In 1990, Branko's son Dean became an apprentice in the company, and has since grown to become one of Sydney's finest stair builders specialising in his father's craft - curved timber stairs. Dean has now taken over the business and runs it with a small team of his own. 

Having a small team ensures that all work is performed by the same people from start to finish to ensure quality and craftsmanship. It is not uncommon to see Dean come and quote, prepare and even install your job. The current team had all started their apprenticeships with BTS and have developed into skilled professional workers.  Dean decided to change the name from Branko timber staircases to Branko stairs as it is no longer just timber stairs that we do . Branko  stairs believes in giving you that personal touch so don't hesitate to call Dean to discuss your new  staircase.
